When most of us think of black forest we think of the cake don't but It's actually a forest in Germany that is called Schwarzwald which literally translates to the black forest! Since I am learning German maybe one day I hope to see this wonderful forest. The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) is an impenetrably dense forested mountain range in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The Black Forest is the setting for Grimm Brothers Fairy Tales and also known for its thermal hot springs, spa towns, and crystal-clear lakes. It is the home of cuckoo clocks and the delectable Black Forest cake. Here is my list of the best and most enjoyable things that travelers shouldn’t miss while holidaying in the Black Forest.
Bakeries Any holiday that begins with a thick cut of Black Forest Cake (Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte) will undoubtedly be amazing. To tick the most appealing thing in the Black Forest off the rundown, explorers can go to any bakery of their decision in any Black Forest town.
