The Exciting Journey of Water

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of the driest countries in the world. However, this country has the highest percentile of drinking ocean water. It is surprising to many people but very true. In the year 2017, the Emirates did something called "cloud seeding".Cloud seeding in the United Arab Emirates is a strategy used by the government to address water challenges in the country. Cloud seeding is a weather-modification technique that improves a cloud's ability to produce rain or snow by artificially adding condensation nuclei to the atmosphere, providing a base for snowflakes or raindrops to form. The United Arab Emirates is one of the first countries in the Persian Gulf region to use cloud seeding technology. In 2014, A total of 187 missions were sent to seed clouds in the UAE with each aircraft taking about three hours to target five to six clouds at a cost of $3,000 per operation. They collected this water in a huge damn. That is how the people are alive.

The people in the Emirates drink about 90% ocean water. They do this by making the salty ocean water into clean drinking water they made many machines to do exactly this. Not thousands or millions but billions of liters of water are made there. It's a great achievement for the Emirates, other countries can learn and use their techniques. The advantage of drinking ocean water is Saltwater is denser than freshwater because of its salt content. When it rains the freshwater reduces the saltiness of the saltwater on the surface. Saltwater is made when freshwater moves over land. The minerals in rocks are eroded by flowing water and combine with the water which eventually enters earthʼs oceans. Rain replenishes fresh water in rivers and streams, so they don't taste salty. However, the water in the ocean collects all of the salt and minerals from all of the rivers that flow into it. In other words, the ocean today probably has a balanced salt input and output (and so the ocean is no longer getting saltier).

So the people here in Emirates have managed to do the impossible, so the least we can do is save water
